Richard Jobson
Founder and President
After many years with leaders in network testing such as GN Nettest and HP/Agilent, Richard founded Teraquant, a rare kind of communications solution company in 2001. Teraquant teamed with Malden in 2005 and brought unmatched expertise to the USA and Canada in speech quality measurement techniques and achieving communication clarity. Teraquant partnered with a startup company called QuadTex, producing a SIP Simulator, grew revenue and sold that company to Spirent in 2006.

Senior Account Director Responsibilities
Teraquant seeks an experienced Senior Account Director to take responsibility for a sales revenue quota, close on a large, active and highly technical portfolio sales pipeline and lead a team of Telesales & Marketing experts to generate leads.
A large amount of autonomy, freedom from a corporate structure would allow the successful candidate to develop, grow in responsibility, show leadership, and fulfil their aspirations at rapid speed and see close correlation between success and compensation.
The successful candidate will capitalize on Teraquant’s thought leadership, reference customers and extensive library of technical resources to achieve sales by helping our customers reduce costs and deliver exceptional user experience in voice and networking operations.
The Senior Account Director will play a central role on our team and further our rapid revenue growth through strong relationship building and a consultative sales approach.
The Senior Account Director Will:
- Execute sales strategy by identifying customer needs and applying them to our solutions and Managed Services, proposing appropriate hardware, software and distinct managed services.
- Follow up on all leads from Marketing campaigns, seek investigatory conference calls to understand in depth the customer’s needs, return on investment and motivation to purchase, within the timescales declared.
- Collaborate with, inspire, help organize, manage, and prioritize the Remote Telesales, marketing and social media team to agree timely objectives and deliverables and assess results, effectiveness and ways of improvement.
- Manage relationships with existing customers to develop new or upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with the technical team to structure solution and Managed Service demonstrations to highlight the benefits in context of well-defined customer requirements.
- Identify success criteria for evaluation/Proof of Concept for customers.

Required Skills and Experience
We are looking for experienced telecom/network technical Senior Account Director professionals with a proven track record in developing new business opportunities with past, current, and targeted customers. This position is for applicants in the Denver-metro/Boulder area who are interested in part-remote work and uncapped commission.
- BA/BS University degree or telecommunications/networking certification.
- Understanding of VoIP technology (SIP, RTP, QoS, voice codecs) and networking.
- Has a background in a technical / networking capacity with an emphasis on troubleshooting, support, and customer service.
- A deep understanding of Unified Communication/VoIP theory and how it applies to an Enterprise communications operational environment
- Multiple years of experience in the unified communications industry or the applicable equivalent
- Experience in a customer-focused sales/engineering role

Junior Sales Engineer Responsibilities
