High Performance and Responsive Media Streaming Delivery
Teraquant’s Content Delivery Network (CDN) comes to a data Center near You. The technical demands of streaming are managed with regular testing of your channel’s playback capabilities, ad insertions, and encoding processes to ensure perfect viewer experience.
Our CDN edge servers leverage the most suitable TCP Fast Open (TFO) algorithms and are optimized to operate at extremely high throughput levels. Even in cases of extended ping times or network congestion, the service quality remains unaffected. Within the USA and Canada, we maintain edge presence in both East and West regions.
And of course, we have backup servers and systems in place to minimize downtime in case of technical failures.
Upon request from the ISP—and subject to the ISP providing IP blocks and hardware—we can deploy Teraquant’s TVworld Cache directly within your ISP’s infrastructure, similar to Netflix’s Open Connect Program. Initially, content is delivered to you through our global CDN, and as traffic grows, local caching becomes a viable and efficient option.
For CDN performance, we take Netflix as a benchmark. As Netflix can deliver 4K streams to many countries from its New York PoP, we emphasize that Teraquant TVworld possesses equally robust delivery capabilities.
the snapshot below shows real-time traffic handled by one of our edge servers during peak hours.
Our edge infrastructure is engineered to sustain ultra-high throughput scenarios. For instance, one of our CDN edge nodes recently delivered 381.6 Gbps of outbound traffic under load, without packet loss or increased latency. This performance is achieved through optimized TCP Fast Open (TFO) TCP configurations, efficient kernel-level queuing, and direct peering with major upstream providers. The system architecture ensures consistent delivery of high-resolution streams—including 4K HDR—regardless of transient congestion or last-mile fluctuations.
Additionally, QoE (Quality of Experience) metrics are measured in real time across all applications, allowing us to monitor viewer experience and detect issues immediately—per ISP and per region. These QoE insights feed directly into our capacity planning models, enabling us to proactively scale and optimize our infrastructure based on real usage patterns and detected anomalies.
